Widya (full name: Widyaningrum Surya Nugraha) (born in Cimahi, Indonesia, 26 February, 1985) is an Indonesian TV presenter. She is perhaps good known as presenter of MotoGP World Championship in Trans7 since 2006.

Profile

Born in Cimahi, her elementary until senior high school was finished in Cimahi. And now she was graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran, faculty of communication, majoring communication management. Since childhood, she has accustomed from Bandung to Jakarta. Widya hobby’s now is singing, reading, and browsing in internet. And she is like animal, especially cat, because it, she has a nickname, by her friends Widya also called ''Cat Lady''.

Career

Widya started her career at entertainment since childhood. In 1993 she become as singing in Trio Laris group, and won HDX Awards. She holds at this group until 1997. In this same year, Widya won Gadis Gemilang Shower to Shower, that performed by Gadis magazine. In 1998 she following Cover Girl Top Guest Baby-G, that performed by Aneka magazine, later Widya is won the title from this event.

Her debut in television is started in 1998, at this year she become as presenter at Kring-Kring Olala in TPI. She stays at this program until 2001. Outside TV, she become as model and advertising stars in many product like Dago Cellular, Biore Anti Acne, Misyelle Shoes, and Logo Clothing Co.

Beginning 21st century, Widya is famous at presenter in many TV stations. Started from ''Musiq'' in TVRI, and later with many TV programs in national or local televisions. In 2003 she become as Guest VJ MTV in MTV Special Ramadhan program on GlobalTV. Alongside presenter, Widya also have time as actress. She starts her career at soap opera ''Puteri Keempat'' in RCTI alongside Tya Ariestya and Irfan Hakim. And in 2006, Widya as listed in ''Pocong 1'' supporting actress.

Now Widya is good known as sports presenter in Trans7. Firstly in 2003 she become as presenter of ''Calcio Action Serie-A'' in SCTV. But since 2004 until now, Widya stay in TV7 (later Trans7), with presenting many sports event such as ''Drag Mania'', ''Quiz Liga Inggris'', and WSBK. In 2006 she began as MotoGP presenter in Trans7, and stay until now, except in 2 last races 2008 season, when she must coverage ''Asian Beach Games'' in Bali, and she replaced by Lucy Wiryono. In 2007-08 seasons, Widya got a new challenge as Lega Calcio Serie-A Match presenter. And now, she is equate with Hilbram Dunar, Feni Rose, Intan Erlita, and many more, who has successfully become as racing and soccer presenters.
